Day 1 : Kingston

We had planned to visit Montreal for a very long time but as they say Winter in Canada is dangerous that’s why the plan was always postponed. But that christmas weekend till New year was special as my friend was visiting me. Since it was first time for both of us that made us plan this sudden trip in a week. Ideally it is no big deal to go Montreal Ottawa if you have place to crash in.
If you can drive then you can just jump in your car and start but if you cannot then there are many bus services that go like megabus , coach canada , Take tours and so on.
So after finishing work on friday we started around 8pm towards Kingston.

The first stop was Kingston to change driving hands and eat dinner and ideally take a break.
If you have not visited 1000 islands before then i will suggest you do this while returning so that you can take tickets for the 1000 island cruise too.
Or basically some day time while going or coming back.
We halted at Kingston for sometime and as usual took pictures in the dark. We waited near the city Hall and waterfront.

Day 2 : Montreal

Bonjour !!
We reached around 3am rested for a while and then were too excited to explore the unseen .
Montreal is some beauty with European architecture. Everything is just pretty there.
We visited all that we could , the old port , Church , City Hall.
Walked around the streets of Montreal and that was the real beauty.
Temperature that day was somewhere around -12°C but that did not stop us from exploring though did limit us as it was soo called.

After this side we went to Mount Royal the topmost point where you do need to walk to reach the top.
After that we ended the day visiting the Saint Joseph’s Oratory.
We saw the biodome and other things from outside as we had less day time we decided what all we really want to see also cold was another factor.
There are many happening pubs and discs around Montreal and night life is sooo good there.

Day 3 : Ottawa

This was our last day. We were on our way back home but we decide to go via Ottawa and explore as much as we can in few hours.
It was chilling and we all did not want to be out for long.
So we left around 10am from Montreal and reached Ottawa by 12.
We got coffee and started walking the snow clad streets towards the Parliament Hill.
We saw the peace tower , Parliament Hill and the Ridieu Canal behind it.
All are within walkable distance and next to each other.
Then we had our lunch and set for our journey towards home – Toronto !

It was altogether a fun-filled trip with less planning , more chilling literally and when you are with friends you feel awesome !
Surely i am gonna plan it again during the summer time as I am yet to see Quebec city the most beautiful part of Quebec .
See you soon .
Au revoir !
