Tobermory – Natural Paradise of Ontario #Canada . Summer Must visit places

Day 1 :

First and foremost , if you are planning any trip to Tobermory you will have to plan ahead. Like 3 months before to get good deal. Tobermory is summer only destination where resorts and cottages are available mainly during summer ( June to August) and few are open in fall. Once winter falls According to the locals , there is no tourism and even locals move to other places .
We booked in April for our trip in July and guess what that time also we found only 3 4 cottages that were available. Rest were booked.
Day 1:
We left from Toronto on Friday morning as we got booking for friday till sunday. Drive is around 5 hours.
On the way we stopped at Suable beach (destination 1). You can go for swim here.
Then we checked in to our cottage and immediately left to explore.
Since it was summer we knew we had daylight till 9pm but parks get closed by 8 or 6.
We went to town to have lunch.
Shipwreck was proper beach shack kinda restaurant.
Food and cocktails are amazing here.
Next we went to singing sand beach.
Few who wanted to swim did swimming and played. Rest did the small trail.
Beach was submerged in water so ideally did not hear any singing of the sands.

Also the local person there advised us that during night time if sky is clear ,people come here to watch the galaxies and stars and constellation.

Then we retired for the night.
If you need food , go early for dinner as shops and everything ideally closes by 8.
We had carried our food.

Day 2 :

Day 2 started with disappointment at first.
So the main attraction – Grotto !! To go to Grotto you need to prebook your parking spot!
There are time zones with 4 hour duration and it gets filled very quickly.
So since we missed booking that and thought we could hike from somewhere else , ( which ideally you could but will consume the whole day as it would be 11km stretch).
So instead park personal advised us to go to other locations.
We went to Half way Log Dump.
Well you must visit this place as not many people go here , it is quiet and so beautiful. This was the most beautiful place on Tobermory !!
View of the Georgian Bay stone beach Blue water !
Check out the pics below.
Next we had booked our cruise at 140pm. So left for that. Note : you need to carry water or food whatever you need as there is not a single shop on Flower pot island.
So the cruise we booked was Glass bottom With Bruce Anchor cruises.
FlowerPot Island trail took about 2 hours to cover the whole island.
Then we came back to Tobermory and in the night it was time for Barbeque !!!

Day 3 :

Finally it was time to say goodbye to Tobermory.
Still there was one last place we wanted to see that was Little Cove.
We checked out of our cottage and went to little cove.
Returned back to Toronto travelling through the scenic route !!
Fun filled adventurous Weekend it was!
